Regulation of PPARγ on Lipid Metabolism and Adipocyte Differentiation

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ is a transcriptional factor that is activated by its ligands.PPARγ has numerous biology functions and can regulate numerous processes,including adipocyte differentiation,lipid metabolism,cell proliferation and cell cycle.In addition,it can also control the production of cell factors and improve insulin sensitivity.This review summarized the latest developments of the functions of PPARγ in relating to lipid metabolism and adipocyte differentiation.
