The curing process and curing behavior of the F-48 novolac epoxy resin modified bisphenol A cyanate ester resins(BADCy)were studied by FT-IR and DSC.The thermal properties,dielectric properties and toughness of F-48 modified BADCy were investigated by TGA,DMA,dielectric and impact strength test.The results showed that the Tgof modified cyanate ester generally increases,up to 255℃and thermal decomposition temperature of the modified cyanate ester resins gradually descreases with the increase of the content of F-48 epoxy.When F-48 epoxy resin is added in an amount of 25% by mass of cyanate ester resins,the modified cyanate ester resin,which has low dielectric constant and dielectric loss,exhibits an 25%raise in impact strength compared to pure cyanate ester resin.
