Epidemic Features of Tuberculosis in Guanyun County from 2005 to 2009

OBJECTIVE To reveal the epidemiological characteristics of tuberculosis in Guanyun County,so as to provide scientific measuers for controlling tuberculosis.METHOD Using descriptive epidemiological studies to analyze the epidemic information of tuberculosis from China Information System for Diseases Control and Prevention.RESULTS A total of 2 673 tuberculosis cases were reported from 2005 to 2009,and the average morbidity was 50.10 per million,the highest morbidity was 63.30 per million in 2005.The morbidity of male was higher than that of female(χ2=464.134,P0.01).Cases happened in every season At the same time,the morbidity of the rural was lower than that of the town(χ2=4.968,P=0.026).CONCLUSIONS The prevention and control of tuberculosis has achieved considerable success in Guanyun county,but the impact of tuberculosis of onset of factors still exist,and tuberculosis prevention and control work is still faced with challenges.
