About this title - Alkaline Rocks: Economic and Geodynamic Significance through Geological Time

The term ‘alkaline rocks’ comprises alkali basalts, tephrites, phonolites, trachytes and their plutonic equivalents, including carbonatites and lamprophyres. Their study can aid the interpretation of ancient terranes and their geodynamic setting.
