摘要
Absorption technology, as one of the most widely employed carbon capture methods, encounters significant technical and economic challenges due to its substantial energy requirements, particularly in large‐scale applications. In recent years, phase‐change absorbents have emerged as a promising alternative, demonstrating remarkable progress in CO 2 capture applications with proven effectiveness in reducing energy consumption. This article provides a systematic review of recent advancements in various types of liquid–liquid phase‐change absorbents, with particular focus on their absorption performance, reaction mechanisms, and phase‐separation behavior. Building upon current research achievements, it is critically examine the existing limitations in liquid–liquid phase‐change absorption technology and propose potential research directions to facilitate its industrial implementation for carbon capture and concentration.
