摘要
The mechanical properties and structure of the joints of aluminum 1915T alloy sheets welded by different techniques are studied. The influence of the filler wire composition on the mechanical and corrosion properties of the welded 1915T alloy joints fabricated by automatic argon-arc welding is considered. The properties of the friction-stir welded joints are compared with the properties of the argon-arc and laser welded joints of the alloy. The strength coefficient of the laser welded 1915T alloy joints is 0.83 when the weld pool is protected by an argon and helium mixture during welding and a 0.8-mm SvAMg63 filler wire is used.
