Design and implementation of “One Belt, One Road” cooperation country Portrait index system based on multi-source data fusion

Since the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed in 2013, the construction of the "Belt and Road" has continued to inject strong momentum into the development of China and countries along the route. With the increasing number of cooperating countries, the assessment and profiling of collaborating countries can help further strengthen the foundation of cooperation and promote win-win cooperation. In this paper, we design a multi-dimensional portrait index system of "One Belt, One Road" cooperation countries, which integrates data from international institutions and more than 220,000 global news reports on "One Belt, One Road" to build a portrait index system of each country. It quantifies "One Belt and One Road" cooperation countries in terms of investment environment index and public opinion trend index and provides new ideas for portraying the image of "One Belt and One Road" countries.
