摘要
In this letter, a novel MIMO linear and Volterra nonlinear equalizer (MIMOL-VNLE) is proposed for signal recovery in the photonics-aided terahertz wave (THz-wave) wireless communication system, which is proven to compensate for linear impairments, nonlinear impairments, and I/Q mixing effects simultaneously. Adopting the proposed algorithm, we experimentally demonstrated the single-channel transmission of 20-Gbaud 16-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (16QAM) THz-wave signal at 440-GHz over 1-m wireless distance.
