Ammonia Volatilization Features of the Soil Applied with Controlled-release Urea in Summer Maize Field

The effect of controlled-release urea on ammonia volatilization of summer maize soil was studied by field location test and dynamic closed chamber monitoring method to know ammonia volatilization loss of the soil applied with controlled-release urea in summer maize field and provide the basis for rational application and nitrogen utilization in summer maize production.The results showed that:1)the soil ammonia volatilization flux,accumulation loss amount and loss ratio of ammonia volatilization and time interval ammonia volatilization flux of the soil applied with controlled-release urea were significantly lower than those of the soil applied with common urea,and accumulation loss amount and ratio of ammonia volatilization and time interval ammonia volatilization flux decreased with reduction of total nitrogen application amount;2)the ammonia volatilization peak stage of the soil applied with controlled-release urea was 2~3dlater than applied with common urea.Temperature,precipitation, irrigation and application pattern had the certain effects on soil ammonia volatilization flux and accumulation loss amount of ammonia volatilization but the overall change was relatively placid.
