Starting from the waterborne polyurethane chemistly, advances in the research of waterborne two-component
arylic-polyurethane are reviewed, including the film formation mechanism, preparation of acrylate and dispersion of
polyurethane. It is shown that the synthesizing process of acrylic and selection of isocyanate curing agent should be combined
with special application techniques to develop waterborne two-component acrylic-polyurethane coatings. The possible developing
trend of waterborne two-component acrylic-polyurethane is also pointed out.
