Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect and toxicity of oxaliplatin plus gemcitabine in the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer.Methods:18 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer diagnosed by imageology were treated with oxaliplatin 85mg/m~2 2 hours iv and gemcitabine 835mg/m~2 30 minutes iv on d1,d8.The regimen was repeated every 21 days and at least two cycles.The evaluation was performed after two cycles. Results:18 patients had evaluative lesions. CR was observed in 1 case and PR in 3 cases,the total response rate was 22.2%(4/18).The main side effects were myelosuppression, neuro-sensory toxicity and nausea/vomiting. There was no any death events during the treatment. Conclusion:oxaliplatin plus gemcitabine in the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer is effective and tolerable.It is worth studying in future.
