Objective: To research the effects of Musca domestica antimicrobial peptides cecropin on human hepatocellular carcinoma BEL-7402 cell protein using proteomic technique and further explore its antitumor mechanism.Method: On the basis of detect tumor cell growth index, after the differentially expressed proteins were identified by two-dimensional electrophoresis and silver staining, the different expression protein spots more than 2 times were digested in the gel and MALDI-TOF-MS detection. After peptide mass fingerprinting were got, these identification of differentially expressed proteins were searched by application Mascot search engine in the NCBI nr database.Result: Musca domestica cecropin can inhibit the growth of BEL-7402,compared with the control group, treated with antimicrobial peptides were identified by two-dimensional electrophoresis of 12 protein spots differentially expressed(6 decreased expressed and 6 higher expressed),most of which related with cell apoptosis, cell metabolism, gene transcription and cytoskeletal. Conclusion: This should lay the foundation to study anti-tumor mechanism of antimicrobial peptides in the future.
