摘要
We demonstrate that, under specific experimental conditions (isothermal crystallization from a single nucleation event in nearly spherical specimens), differential scanning calorimetry data can be used to deduce the velocity of a crystallization front in undercooled liquids. For Pd 43.2 Cu 28 Ni 8.8 P 20 alloy and 683 K < T < 700 K, the growth velocity is approximately 4.3 x 10 13 (m s -1 ) exp (-2.7eV/kT).
