A series of LaNi1-yCoyO3(y=0.0-1.0) perovskite catalysts used as the catalysts of bifunctional oxygen electrodes were prepared by solgel method. The samples were characterized by XRD. Their electrocatalytic activity at oxygen electrodes were investigated by steady polarization curves and cyclic voltammetry method. The results show that the electrocatalystic properties of LaNiO3 is improved by doping the B ions and the LaNi0.8Co0.2O3 used as electrocatalyst of bifunctional oxygen electrode has excellent catalytic activity and stability on both oxygen reduction reaction and oxygen evolution reactions.
