Research on the Process Mineralogy for the Oolitic Hematite in Wushantaohua

The research on such features as ore structure,mineral composition,dissemination characteristics,occurrence and distribution of the oolitic hematite in Wushantaohua were carriecl on.The results showed that there were the four types of 12 minerals of the ferrous metal minerals,sulfide,phosphate and non-metallic gangue minerals,among which hematite and limonite have great influence on the recovery of iron.Although the content of hematite is very low,it is pure to improve the grade of iron concentrate.Hematite and limonite and gangue minerals are closely disseminated,so it is difficult to separate,which is the main factor affecting the recovery of iron.If the oolitic mainly containing hematite and limonite are selected as the objects,which can reduce the grinding fineness,the mud fraction yield and the iron loss.It is a beneficial exploration direction.
