Correlation between anxiety and anxiety-relief strategies of nurses in infection departmet

Objective To explore the correlation between anxiety and anxiety-relief strategies of nurses in infection department,and provide the reference for the work of hospital.Methods State-Trait Anxiety Inventory was taken to analyze the state-trait anxiety status of 29 nurses in infection department.Results The infection department nurses state anxiety (45.39 ± 9.51) and trait anxiety (45.85 ± 9.91) were higher than those of healthy women norms,pediatrics nurses,general nurses,women cadres,and technological personnel,respectively.The difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Infection department nurses have mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.Paying attention to nurses' mental health problems in infection department is helpful to improve the quality of nursing work and reduce the medical risk.Nurses' psychological anxiety and disorder is considered to be a new topic worthy for attention of hospital administration work Key words: Infection department;  Nurse;  Psychological anxiety
