Objective:To establish optimal extraction conditions of polysaeeharides from Seaweed treated with cellulose. Methods: Seaweed polysaccharides content was determined by the phenol-sulfuric acid method and the yield of seaweed polysaccharides was the induce to optimize extraction process by a combination of response surface methodology(RSM).The cellulase concentration, enzymolysis temperature and enzymolysis time were selected as factors to study the influence of the extraction process. Results: Polysaccharide yield was most significantly affected by enzymolysis temperature, followed by extraction time, cellulase concentration. The optimal conditions of variables were determined as follows: cellulase concentration 1.2%,enzymolysis temperature 46.5 ℃,and enzymolysis time 100 min.Under the conditions above, the yield of polysaecharides was 4.64%.Conclusion:Compared with the extraction by water, this method can increase 7.41% in polysaccharide yield with less cost and higher efficiency.
