Research on oxygen isotope application in paleo-climate of high resolution

Research on paleo climate of high resolution has become one of the hotspots in studying global change.Along with the development in stable isotopic theory and the improvement of testing technology,δ 18 O in sediment has increasingly become an substitute for environmental index and aroused the attention from the scholars both home and abroad.The application of oxygen isotope in ice cores,loess palaeosol sequences and cave formations are described,and the influence factors and the problems existed during the application are pointed out.
