High-nuclearity Ag-substituted tetrameric sandwich-type polyoxometalates for excellent catalytic performance in C–C bond formation

A tetrameric sandwich-type high-nuclearity substituted silver cluster with Lewis acid–base sites was synthesized and demonstrated outstanding catalytic performance in C–C bond formation for the Knoevenagel condensation and cyanosilylation reactions.
