The conventional thermal calculation method was modified for the oxy-fuel combustion technology and then applied to pulverized coal combustion under different O2/CO2 ratios. The calculation results match the experimental conclusions, indicating that the method can be used for thermal calculation of oxy-fuel combustion. The calculation results of combustion under different O2/CO2 ratios were also compared with that of combustion in air,and the results show that the calculation outcome of combustion under the O2/CO2 ratio of 30/70 is close to that of combustion in air.
