Simultaneous Determination of Oxytetracycline,Tetracycline,Chlortetracycline and Doxycycline in Poultry Meat by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

A high performance liquid chromatography method was developed for simultaneous determination of oxytetracycline,tetracycline,chlortetracycline and doxycycline residues in poultry meat.Samples were ex-tracted with0.1mol/L Na 2 EDTA-Mcllvaine buffer solutions and centrifuged.The sample extracts were cleaned up by both Oasis HLB solid-phase extraction cartridge and carbolic acid anion exchange cartridge and then were determined by UV detection at350nm.At fortification levels of5-100μg/kg,recoveries were60%-100%with coefficients of variation within16%.Limit of detection was2μg/kg for oxytetracycline and tetracycline and5μg/kg for chlortetracycline and doxycycline.
