摘要
To predict the retention times of organic solvents under isothermal GC and temperature-pro- grammed GC for optimizing the chromatographic condition in determination of residual solvents in pharmaceuticals. Methods:To establishment of the GC retention equations of each organic solvent,according to the equations,an iter- ative method was used to predict the retention times of each solvent under a different isothermal or temperature- programmed condition,using a worksheet of Excel as tools,then to choose the optimal chromatographie eondition to carry out.Results:Accurate prediction was acquired and the analysis time under the optimized chromatographic condition was largely shortened.Conclusions:Prediction of retention time is useful in optimizing the chromatograph- ic condition in determination of residual solvents in pharmaceuticals.
