Gelcasting process is a consolidation in-situ forming technique,which can effectively increase the material reliability and reduce the manufacturing cost of complex-shaped ceramic parts.However,the internal stress easily occurs in the green body during gelcasting,affecting the performance of the green body during drying and de-bindering processes due to the presence of the cracks in green body.In order to quantitatively analyze the effect of consolidation stress on the cracks in green body,the internal stress gener-ated in the process of slurry solidification was measured using a self-made stress sensor.The effects of process parameters(i.e.,cata-lyst,initiator,concentration of organic mater,ratio of organic monomer to crosslinker and solid volume fraction) during gelcasting on the internal stress of slurry solidification and the crack of green body after de-bindering were systematically investigated.The results indicate that inner stress is generated during slurry solidification.The inner stress increases with the increase of initiator and monomer content in slurry,and the temperature in slurry increases with the decrease of the mass ratio of monomer to crosslinker,causing the increase of inner stress and the occurrence of serious crack in green body during de-bindering.
