corresponding to the air density 1 .A number of indices measured in voxels (vox.) were recorded: total expiratory air capacity of both lungs (EC2); total inspiratory air capacity of both lungs (IC2).The control group consisted of 12 healthy people.Results: An increase in expiratory air capacity was found in 46 patients with sarcoidosis.The EC2 index was 368.37AE48.64 vox.IC2 indicator corresponded to the norm.In the control group, the EC2 index did not exceed 50 vox.In fig.there are three-dimensional models of expiratory air capacity of a patient with pulmonary-mediastinal sarcoidosis (B) and a healthy person (A) in comparison.Conclusions: CT volumetry is an effective method for diagnosing lung hyperinflation in patients with pulmonarymediastinal sarcoidosis, allowing to carry out not only visual, but also quantitative assessment.The data obtained indicate a lung hyperinflation in patients with sarcoidosis compared with healthy individuals.1.
