摘要
An experimental investigation into the phase equilibria and stability of the Ti(Cr,Al) 2 phase, having a C14 crystal structure, was conducted. It was discovered that the Ti(Cr,Al) 2 phase has a maximum solubility into the ternary system of about 42 at. % Al, with Al substituting for Cr, and a width of about 1 to 3 at. % Ti. Partial isothermal sections at 1000°C and 800°C have been constructed, as well as a schematic of the β-transus as a function of temperature and composition. The change in the lattice parameters and hardness of the Ti(Cr,Al) 2 phase with composition have been determined. The obtained results are compared with previous evaluations.
