The influence of Epoxy-chain Extender on the Properties of the Recycled PA66

Using the different contents of oligomer CE051 with epoxy group as chain extender,reactive extrusion process for recycled PA66 was carried out by means of a co-rotating twin screw extruder.The intrinsic viscosity,the mechanical properties and the thermal property of the products were investigated.The results showed,the melt flow rate(MFR) of recycled PA66 decreased and the intrinsic viscosity and thermal stability increased obviously.Accordingly,the mechanical properties was improved especially the toughness.
