Abstract Ferrisilicates with the zeolite ZSM‐5 structure have been prepared from ferrisilicate gels containing low‐molecular‐weight silica species (preparation: addition of silica in H2O to a acidified aqueous solution of Fe(NO3)3, subsequent addition of tetrapropylammonium bromide, heating at 170 °C, 3 d, autogeneous pressure).
