An oil film inertia velocity distribution model is elaborated for squeeze film damper(SFD) with long bearing assumption in vibration condition based on Navier-Stokes(N-S) equations with the inertial terms.The model is validated by numerical calculation.The parametric analysis results of the model show that the effect of fluid inertia on the velocity distribution increases with the increase of Reynolds Number;the velocity increases with the increase of eccentricity ratio.This article provides a basis for the further investigation into oil film dynamics and for high speed rotor system design.
