The Extraction of the Nitrates of the Rare Earth Metals by Mixtures of Binary and Neutral Extractants

The extraction of the nitrates of the rare earth metals with mixtures consisting of binary extractants was explored: 2-ethylhexyl-mono-2-ethylhexyl ether phosphonate tri-n-octylamine, di- (2-ethylhexyl) phosphate tri-n-octylamine and a neutral extractant (solvating reagent) – tri-n-octylamine nitrate.
