摘要
V2O5/PEDOT core/shell crossed nanobelts are fabricated on CVD graphene foams and applied as a binder-free cathode material for Li-ion batteries, as demonstrated by H. J. Fan, Z. X. Shen, and co-workers on page 5794. Such an integrated cathode exhibits outstanding high-rate properties (up to 60C) and a very stable capacity (up to 1000 cycles). The high performance is ascribed to the coating with the mesoporous polymer polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT), which serves as a conductive protection.
