Observations on the Efficacy of Contralateral Meridian Needling plus Sparse-dense Wave Electroacupuncture in Treating Stroke Hemiplegia

Objective To investigate the efficacy of healthy side needling plus sparse-dense wave electroacupuncture in treating stroke hemiplegia.Methods Ninety patients with stroke hemiplegia were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups,45 cases each.The treatment group received healthy side needling plus sparse-dense wave electroacupuncture and the control group,affected side needling plus interrupted wave electroacupuncture.Results The therapeutic effect was better in the acupuncture group than in the control group in the early stage and the same in the late stage.Conclusion Contralateral meridian needling plus sparse-dense wave electroacupuncture has a quick effect.
