Study on the Extraction Technology of Protocatechuic Acid from Syringa oblata Lindl. Leaves

[Objective]To establish the extraction method of protocatechuic acid from Syringa oblata Lindl.leaves.[Method]With Syringa oblata leaves as raw material,absolute ethanol as solvent,the content of protocatechuic acid as the inspection index,an orthogonal experiment was carried out by selecting the material-liquid ratio,extraction times,extraction temperature and extraction time to optimize the extraction technology of protocatechuic acid from Syringa oblata leaves.[Result]The optimum extraction technology was:material-liquid ratio 1∶30,extraction time 4 h,and temperature 65 ℃.Yield of protocatechuic acid was 0.075 9 mg/g under this condition.[Conclusion]It was feasible to extract protocatechuic acid from Syringa oblata leaves by the solvent-extraction process.
