Metabolites of Aconitum alkaloids from compound formula of Chinese medicine in human body

Objective To identify the metabolites of Aconitum alkaloids from the compound formula of Chinese medicine in human urine.Method The liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-multi-stage mass spectrometry(LC-ESI-MSn)was used.Result There were five metabolites of Aconitum alkaloids were identified in the urine of a female patient.Conclusion These five metabolites of Aconitum alkaloids from the urine of patient with the symptom of aconitine poisoning kept the skeletal structures of Aconitum alkaloids—the basis structure of Aconitum alkaloids,which can be taken as the indicator of aconitine(Aconitum alkaloids)poisoning and as a substitution for aconitine,a primary poisoning indicator,that metabolizes quickly in organism and is hard to determine.LC-ESI-MSn is sensitive,exclusive and easy for detecting the indicator of aconitine poisoning.
