Development of online device for monitoring transient overvoltage in electric power system

A device to monitor transient overvoltage online in electric power system is introduced. This kind of device by using dry contact electric input and high speed synchronization data acquisition system could accurately analyze the cause of transient overvoltage event in electric power system. Practical operation shows that the device works reliably and stably.
