Reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) polymerization is one of the techniques employed to obtain living/controlled radical polymerization.Due to the compatibility with a wide range of monomers and reaction conditions,the RAFT process appears considerably more versatile than other living or controlled radical polymerization process.Therefore RAFT radical polymerization has been studied extensively.This review highlights the progress in RAFT radical copolymerization since its first report in 1998.It gives an account of the monomer pairs that have been copolymerized to date,and addresses the influence of the RAFT process on the copolymer composition.
