Influences of Sand and Mud Quantity in Concrete on Performance of Water Reducer

This article studies influences of sand and mud quantity on properties of water reducing ratio of polycarboxylate superplasticizer and on concrete compressive strength.Naphthalene-type superplasticizer is also compared to it in test.Test result shows that with the increase of sand clay,either polycarboxylate superplasticizer or naphthalene type superplasticizer decreases the concrete water reducing ratio,strength,slump and so on.So it must be strictly controlled to guarantee the concrete quality.
