With the solubility parameter theory and a proper mix of epoxy and polyamide resins,a solvent-based epoxy-polyamide varnish having excellent overall properties has been prepared. Selection of solvent mixture,curing mechanism and IR spectrum characterization were discussed. Test results of film performance were listed.
