Consumer-Centered Intelligent Supply Chain Management Against Grand Background of Data Science

In the golden age of data science, more powerful computing power and faster computing speed are required for the consumer-centered intelligent supply chain management, for which the constant advance of 6G technology creates opportunities. In this paper, based on machine learning and documentary analysis, the documents on consumer-centered intelligent supply chain management from 2000 to 2024 were studied, and the research status, hotspots, trends and outlook of this theme were summarized. The studies reveal that (1) during 2000–2024, the number of published papers in terms of consumer-centered intelligent supply chain management shows a two-stage pattern: Fluctuation and explosive growth. (2) The theme is featured by multi-country, multi-field and cross-research. Moreover, the research is still in the initial stage, the coordination of related researchers is inadequate and the academic relationship between researchers is weak. (3) The research hotspots focus on five themes, including “Supply Chain Management”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Industry 4.0”, “Internet of Things” and “Consumer Behavior”. (4) Future research hotspot lies in optimizing supply chain processes through 6G networks and artificial intelligence, improving interoperability standards, developing edge computing, enhancing network security protocols and exploring the combination of blockchain technology and 6G technology. This paper offers research experience and references about the themes of Digital Twin and Virtual Simulation, Forecasting Customer Demand and Individualized Service, supply chain coordination and information sharing and sustainable supply chain management under the background of data science.
