Relaciones entre familias y escuelas: el reto de la comunidad educativa del futuro

espanolLas familias y escuelas han visto sus funciones modificadas a lo largo del tiempo, y de forma mas notoria en el nuevo contexto social, cambiante e imprevisible. Lejos de acercar posturas, ambas instituciones se han distanciado en sus necesarias interconexiones, a pesar de compartir el objetivo comun de educar a los discentes. Es por ello que se precisa una revision de sus relaciones, en aras de una congruencia en la educacion de las nuevas generaciones. A pesar que desde la administracion educativa se atisba sinergias por conseguir una educacion que camine en paralelo de la nueva sociedad global, la realidad es otra. Por ello se deviene propiciar procesos de reflexion sobre las razones que justifican la colaboracion entre familias y escuelas, mas aun cuando dichas relaciones siempre aportaran beneficios a la comunidad educativa en general, y a los alumnos en particular. EnglishFamily and school have changed their functions with time. This change is even more remarkable in the new volatile and unpredictable social context. Both educational institutions, far from getting closer, have actually lost some of the connections they need for their common objective of educating students. Thus, a review of their relationship is due in order to achieve some congruence in the education of the new generations. Although from the standpoint of the educational administration some synergies in the efforts to achieve an educational system that runs in parallel with the new global society can be seen, the reality is quite another. We need to facilitate a reflection process on the rationale for the collaboration between families and schools, especially as these relationships will always bring about advantages for the students in particular and the educational community in general.
