Investigation of Evaluating and Decreasing the Energy Usage of Air Conditioning System in Supermarket

Heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) are of the main items of building energy consumption. Improving its control and management is a cost-effective way to gain high energy efficiency. The paper developed a method to evaluate energy consumption and calculate performance index to analyze energy efficiency and energy saving potential. Based on the results, HVAC control strategy is proposed to save energy.
