摘要
Aryl cyclopropanes are easily accessible from abundant styrene derivatives and serve as attractive building blocks for 1,3-difunctionalization reactions. However, the lack of activating substituents renders the ring-opening difunctionalization of aryl cyclopropanes much more difficult. Recently, the Zhang, König, Studer, Lei, and Feng groups reported single electron oxidation-initiated chloro-oxygenation, amino-oxygenation, etc., thus opening up a new dimension for the synthetic elaboration of arylcyclopropanes.
